School Counselor and Licensed Therapist

Jasmin is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She specializes in working with children, teens and families in issues related to parenting support, child development, depression, anxiety as well as stress and anger management. She is currently working as a licensed therapist and school counselor while residing in Los Angeles, California.

Jasmin obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Spelman College in Atlanta, GA as well as a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, NJ.

Jasmin has been providing therapy support to children, adolescents and adults for over 10 years in various settings including schools, community mental health agencies and, in some cases, in client’s homes. In addition to her direct clinical work, Jasmin is a public speaker and workshop presenter. She has worked in various school districts presenting to school communities on topics related to mental and emotional wellness, conflict resolution, substance use and stress management. Jasmin has also presented at national conferences on the topic of mentorship in the workplace for people of color.

At the core of Jasmin’s work is love and a deep sense of belonging. She believes that if people feel loved and are connected to a supportive community, they are able to thrive as individuals and access their highest good.
